Social media posts show millennials and Generation Zs proudly explaining the purchase of their lab-grown diamonds for sustainability and ethical reasons. Natural diamonds take billions of years to form and are difficult to find, making their price more stable. Globally, lab-grown diamonds are now 5-6% of the market and the traditional industry is not taking it sitting down. It's also still true in more rural areas of the United States, while lab-grown diamonds have taken off more in the cities.

Hong Kong CNN —Popular Taiwanese rock band Mayday is being investigated by Chinese authorities over allegations of lip-synching during recent concerts, an accusation the band’s label has denied in a controversy that has dominated Chinese social media since the weekend. Live shows routinely use pre-recorded background vocals and music to bolster artists’ live singing performances, especially acts that involve vigorous choreography. Chinese government regulations explicitly ban performers from “deceiving audiences with lip-synching,” and organizers from arranging for performers to lip synch. The band is well known for hosting energetic marathons of music, with each show typically lasting two to three hours. They were among the first Taiwanese musicians to hold large-scale concerts in China after the country lifted its stringent zero-Covid policy and travel restrictions.

The initial post-earnings decline in Zscaler (ZS) shares opened the door for investors to soon buy the cybersecurity stock, CNBC's Jim Cramer said Tuesday. "When the smoke clears ... go back in because cybersecurity is still the hottest area in the U.S. economy," Cramer said on "Squawk on the Street." Shares of Zscaler were about flat around noon ET at $191 each, well off their lows earlier in the session. However, Cramer said investors were disappointed, in part, by a 37% quarter-over-quarter decline in total billings growth. For Zscaler, Cramer said he's also looking past the billings metrics and more focused on the long-term opportunity for the company because digital security threats remain abundant.
